My father-in-law passed away two weeks ago. Sunday we gathered together to celebrate the life of our “Papa Charlie”. It was really wonderful seeing so many people come together that haven’t seen each other in quite some time. Papa Charlie loved his children and grandchildren. While Reid may be too young to remember him, I’m sure there will be plenty of stories shared.

Our annual trip to the Isle of Palms near Charleston, SC…
I love to snap our family photos while on this vacation every year. This year there was a little rain interference with “picture night” so we moved it to the last morning when we were leaving. Only problem… overcast that lingered. They turned out a little grainy but still mark the tradition.
Of course there is always great restaurants to try and sweet friends to see!
Reid got a stomach bug while we were on vacation. So, he missed dinner with the Condons. It was great seeing them again!

And of course there was plenty of beach time, day and night!
