Spring break is coming to an end and that makes me sad. But the thought of summer just six weeks away is putting a smile on all of our faces!
We had a great time this spring break hanging out with family. Aunt Connie and Uncle Jim came into town and we had several family meals on the deck, late night talks, and family down time together.
It’s good to catch up with everyone now and then. Uncle Jim will be retiring soon and he and Connie will be moving here!!!! There needs to be plenty of !!!!!!!!! because we are all so excited and glad they are finally moving home!
Our crazy boys decided to take a dip in the pool several times this week. We stuck Reid’s toes in the last few days and he would try to climb further and further in. Crazy boys, it really is too cold still.
Reid isn’t a huge fan of the swim diaper. His constant tugging kept me laughing.
Love little wet feet that are beginning to wrinkle. “Five more minutes Mom!”
We are patiently waiting for the speech to come with this guy. In the meantime, we are really trying to encourage him to sign. We work on “more” when blowing bubbles. Reid will work for bubbles.
You may not know it but he’s quite the stubborn boy! He will blurt a word out once and then not say it again for weeks!!! I’m sure I don’t have to explain how frustrating this can be especially when I teach young children all day. Come on Reid!
Hurry up summer!
