Going Through The Process

My brain has been going crazy lately with deep thoughts and so much that I should probably let pour out of me.  I've recently read Bloom by Kelle Hampton and even though our children do not share the same exceptionality there are raw emotions that really hit home.  I really enjoyed the book and truely feel like this is a journey I am on and that I am being molded into a new Me. 

For now....I think I will crawl into bed and turn on a little "feel good" T.V. and post more later.  However, I will leave a few recent photos of my men! 

Boat :)

Three out of my four guys are out on the boat fishing this morning.  Reid is napping and the house is quiet...Ahhhhh.  I get to finish my cup of coffee and do whatever I want!!!  Well, that is if I ignore the breakfast dishes in the sink and the pile of laundry in the corner staring me down!  Yes, I will ignore for a few moments of moma bliss. :)

We FINALLY got the boat in the water this week and my guys are totally smitten with it!  Here are a few pictures from the day we put it in.  Spencer wasn't in these because he was a total lounge lizard after a full day of swimming, basketball and backyard baseball.  I guess Briggs' motor just keeps going and going and going... :)

My guys are seriously into fishing now!  If it's not every evening, it's ever other evening I can find them all down on the dock watching bobbers patiently. :)  I fished on that dock as a kiddo and LOVE seeing them out there!  Sweet summer time memories....

Spencer's 10th Birthday Party! Yay DOUBLE DIGITS!!

Spencer's 10th birthday party was a great day full of a few friends, pizza, cake and swimming!  I love having Spencer's party every year.  It is so laid back and stress free!  Here are a few pics from our day!

My dearest Spencer,
    Where has the time gone? TEN years!?? You are growing up so fast and it's starting to fly by more and more.  Today we had a small family dinner at home...your pick...TACOS!  We are having your party on the 18th.  I can't wait to see you hanging out with a few friends celebrating 10! 

See what I mean?  Growing up!  When I look at this next picture I see a much older Spencer instead of that baby face that has always been there.
