We went outside to grab some fresh air with Reid and Briggs during one of the rounds. Briggs enjoyed the little creek near the education center. We saw a few fish and spotted a baby turtle.

Reading Bowl
Spencer and seven other 5th grade LPE students competed in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl at Valdosta State University this Saturday. They have been working very hard to prepare, some reading as many as 16 books! There were 6 intense rounds of questioning where teams competed to earn 10 points per question. At the end of the day LPE received a trophy for participation. Special thanks to our media specialist, Brenda Humphrey!!! She dedicated many after school hours helping our kiddos prepare.
